Each month we will be sharing an insight to one of our team members. This August we would like to introduce you to the lovely Julia Paterson. Read on to find out her thoughts on the business and a little sneak peek into her personal life…
“As one of the long-standing Partner Business Managers at Onecom Partners and a newly appointed Mobile Lead in the sales team, I have the privilege of working alongside our ever-growing partner community, supporting, nurturing, and finding the right solutions for their customers. My passion and drive to ensure our partners succeed is limitless and is driven by my desire to continue learning and growing.
I have seen many changes in the Telecoms industry over the last 20 or so years, and I firmly believe that as an industry, we are in an on-going phase of ‘rebirth’ with wide transformation across the tech world. I would encourage all of you to jump on the rebirth mantra with me!
If we combine the ‘rebirth’, with the fact that Onecom Group is the UK’s leading provider of mobility and Cloud Communication Solutions and the expansion of its 500m + strategic partnership with Vodafone we are, in my opinion, in the best possible place to meet and exceed our partners expectations.
It is quite clear that we are going through an exciting time at Onecom partners, with our rebrand launch event on the 8th September in Newbury, along with our big push on mobile incentives, summer promotions and now autumn promotions (Watch this space for more news on the promo extensions, speak to your PBM or call me on 07889 227726).
My exciting times outside of my work life, involve taking my son to numerous football matches (giving me a chance to keep up with the parent gossip) whilst Leo does what he loves! Win, Win.
I am also in the fortunate position of living a 5-minute walk from the Solent, giving me plenty of excuses to walk/run along the beach listening to inspirational podcasts! My luxury this summer has been to finish work on a Friday, cycle down to the sea, do a quick swim with the family, and then finish off with a nice glass of wine (or 2!)
Other pastimes involve meeting up with my family and friends, spending time on my brother’s boat, and trying to encourage my son to try something else, other than football. Badminton is next on the cards!”
