Almost a week on from the most prestigious event of the year for the channel and we are all still reliving the most amazing few days as proud platinum sponsors.
The week was full of inspirational talks and meetings, with many new and familiar faces. It’s been a delight to catch up in the most spectacular venue, joined by a minty mojito…or two.
To represent our Free to Perform ethos, we were joined by 9 Group brand ambassador and Paralympian, Gordon Reid MBE. Along with his iconic gold medal, Gordon joined us at one of our board room sessions and dinner, talking through his journey to success.
We were also joined by Christian Bleakley of Telesis, a leading Partner of 9. Christian talked through some real life examples of how 9 has helped Telesis generate new business, especially through our in-house Marketing support.
Digital Britain took centre stage of this year’s conversation, where our very own CEO, James Palmer, discussed his thoughts of what’s to come for leaders of channel partners and their business customers. He talked passionately about his hands-off approach as CEO, allowing staff to feel empowered and valued.
Make sure staff buy into your vision,” he stated. “You must priorities full engagement with colleagues rather than take a scattergun approach.
Empower your teams to deliver. Being hands-off and developing a culture with regular cross company communications makes a big difference.

We held 8 boardroom sessions over the 3 days, focussing on our Free to Perform ethos, in-house Marketing support and our IP Telephony platform, eve. If you missed out, just get in touch, we’d love to hear from you.
