Onecom launches landmark update to Vox voice platform - protecting businesses from deepfake fraud and providing vital productivity insights
Onecom Technology Group has announced the next generation of its Vox voice platform – the first in the world to combine deepfake call detection, identity verification, recording and transcription with actionable intelligence that drives productivity and growth.
Vox has been rebuilt from the ground up, adding advanced technology that can alert users in real time if a synthetic voice is detected, and automatically identify known callers from their unique voice fingerprint.
Alongside its security features, Vox provides businesses with meaningful, actionable intelligence gathered from call records, helping businesses drive productivity and empower growth – for example by following up missed sales opportunities and identifying emerging customer trends.
The new version of Vox is available now to all Onecom customers and will be launched to Onecom Partners resellers in Q4 2026.
Aaron Brown, CEO, Onecom Technology Group, said: “As voice fraud becomes more sophisticated, we wanted to give businesses practical tools to detect threats while also helping them get more value from every customer conversation through a system that learns from calls, providing businesses with intelligence they can act upon to improve productivity.
“Vox brings these features together with world-class SIP services, recording, transcription and summarising services and provides them all through one platform, eliminating the complexity of managing multiple services.
“Our in-house teams have spent countless hours researching, developing and fine-tuning this groundbreaking technology, combining their AI expertise with Onecom’s two decades of experience in business communications technology to produce a platform that not only protects businesses but helps them grow.”
Vox is delivered through SIP trunk internet voice technology and uses a bespoke LLM built in-house by Onecom.
It is entirely platform agnostic, working with Onecom’s own Wave platform and with voice and video calling services including Zoom, Five9, and Microsoft Teams.
Vox also works seamlessly with Halo Communicate, Onecom’s agentic AI voice solution, which allows businesses to hire, manage and scale digital workers such as virtual receptionists.
Each Vox capability is licensed monthly and consumed through a portal purpose-built for each customer. The services are:
Vox is hosted in the UK on Google Cloud, is covered by ISO 27001, ISO 22301 and Cyber Essentials, and carries a high-availability service level agreement measured monthly.
