There’s been a lot of talk over the new and exciting 5G, but is it really going to affect your business? And if so, how?
BT recently released an article discussing the benefits of 5G for SME’s and ultimately, taking a mobile-first approach in your organisation.
Did you know that 94% of UK residents own at least one mobile phone?
We know it’s not that surprising, considering how much we are reliant on our mobiles in everyday life – whether at work or in our personal lives. You’re much more likely to pick up your mobile and interact with a brand, whether that’s via social media, app, call or text. Regular access to desktops is becoming increasingly unusual, whereas you’ll always have a smartphone nearby.
Taking a mobile-first approach simply means putting the mobile experience at the core of every customer and employee touchpoint. According to BT, by adopting this approach your business can reap the benefits of:
Happy customers – you’ll be able to respond to customer queries easily and at speed. Keeping your customers happy and retention high.
Happy employees – relying more on mobile means your employees have higher flexibility and the ability to work from anywhere.
Adopting a mobile-first approach will be a lot easier with the introduction of 5G, especially with some network providers offering unlimited 5G data packages for SME’s.
So, will you be harvesting the benefits and taking a mobile-first approach in your organisation? Take a look at the full BT article here for more information.
